CyberSiege is a physical trading card game that provides computer scientists with an easy, fun introduction to the basic concepts of information technology.
It also strengthens team spirit, logical approaches and communication within the team.
Absolutely! CyberSiege is designed to be easily accessible for everyone.
Even though computer scientists get a good introduction to IT terms and cyber security, you don't necessarily have to learn them to play CyberSiege.
To play the card game, you first need the cards. These are not yet available as the game is still in the production phase.
A Kickstarter campaign will be launched in 2025, where you can get the game at a low price before anyone else.
Check out the rules to learn how to play CyberSiege and what possibilities it offers.
CyberSiege offers a different experience for every player: whether you prefer a very strategic game with your friends or only have very little time and want to play a quick round with a buddy.
The Siege, Warfare and Strike rules play with the same cards, but offer different possibilities.
In addition, the Strike rule in particular offers many options for adapting the game experience to your own personal playing style.
As in other card games, CyberSiege offers the possibility to choose your cards individually to bring your favorite attacks or security mechanisms into play.
In addition to the basic sets, which make it very easy to get into the game, there will be booster packs that you can use to customize your deck.
There will also be other ways to get cards later on. I'm doing this because, as a long-time TCG player, I know how frustrating it can be not to get the cards you want for the game.
CyberSiege offers a wide range of different rule sets that make it possible to play with 2 to 8 players.
Although it is possible to add more players to the game, it can get quite chaotic if the team is not experienced. It's not about how well you know the game, but how well you can work together as a team.
Functions in CyberSiege are effects that are available on every single card.
Trigger these functions by using protocols to support your team, boost your attack or defense, or slow down the enemy team.
Without protocols, nothing runs in CyberSiege. You need them to attack or to trigger functions.
Make sure you have enough protocol cards in your deck!
